Disclaimer, Guarantee Details and Returns Policy


Hentronix units are to help you keep your chickens safe, but we cannot accept responsibility for any loss of chickens. As with any automatic system, the ultimate responsibility for the welfare and safety of the chickens rests with the owner/keeper. That said, we have worked tirelessly, and continue to work tirelessly to provide the best openers and closers on the market!

Shipping: Whilst we advertise average shipping times, we can't assume responsibility for the operational difficulties experienced by our couriers. We do ask that you place your order in good time in advance of any holidays to avoid disappointment!

Our couriers do not deliver to PO boxes, but we can deliver to home and workplace addresses!

If you are ordering from a 'remote location' in the United States, where excess postage fees can and are sometimes applied, Hentronix will get in touch post-purchase to discuss shipping options. If you think you may looking for delivery to a remote location and would like to check with us, please contact us at info@hentronix.co.uk and we will be more than happy to advise! 

Payments by PayPal: We accept payments by PayPal! Some payments processed through PayPal will have a fee levied on them by PayPal and we regret that we cannot absorb these fees or refund said fees.

Privacy Policy: Hentronix LTD does not handle financial payments directly and does therefore not see any customer payment/card information. Our website is secure, and card payments are processed through Stripe and/or PayPal and therefore not handled directly by us. We like to think this increases the security around our customers' payment details. 

Returns Policy: You may return any item unused and undamaged within 15 days of receipt of the product for a full refund.  Please include the invoice you received automatically when ordering the product when returning the unit to help us identify it. Return shipping must be arranged by the customer and paid for by the customer. It unfortunately, used products cannot be returned as this measure prevents the spread of poultry-related illness via our production facility.

Please allow up to 7 working days after we have recieved your unit for reimbursement to be processed.

Guarantee Details:

The Hentronix guarantee does not cover

  • Parts produced to the highest relevant standards that might wear out over time (e.g. fuses, batteries, etc.).

  • Accidental damage, however caused

  • Faults caused by:

    • Negligent use, misuse, neglect or careless operation of the device

    • Use of parts not assembled, installed or maintained in accordance Hentronix advice

The two year guarantee is effective from the Date of Purchase, and the purchased unit’s guarantee is not extended beyond the initial guarantee period following repair.
